Group Programs That Fit Your Life

Structured, evidence-based programs help you build tools that last well beyond the group itself. Several of our offerings are designed specifically for Veterans and their families; others are open to the wider community.

Therapy Groups Currently Offered

01.

DBT Skills Group (Veterans)

A manualised skills training covering mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness — helpful for anger, depression, anxiety, impulsivity, chaotic relationships and stress. This is the skills group only, not a full DBT program. 15 weeks · Tuesdays 9:30–11:30 am.

02.

CBT for PTSD (Veterans)

Reduces the frequency and severity of PTSD symptoms through psychoeducation, behavioural exposures and cognitive restructuring, with attention to core themes disrupted by trauma — safety, trust, power/control, intimacy and esteem. 12 weeks · Thursdays 12:00–2:00 pm.

03.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Builds psychological flexibility for adjustment, retirement and the 'next chapter' — defining values and committing to action that aligns with them. Especially helpful for the military-to-civilian transition. 10 weeks plus 2 monthly follow-ups · Tuesdays 12:00–2:00 pm.

04.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Helps clients understand protective and wounded inner 'parts' and integrate them toward an authentic self. Ideal for those currently receiving Ketamine treatment with their psychiatrist; note this is not Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. 10 weeks · Thursdays 9:30–11:30 am.

05.

Veteran Family Support Group

A virtual, supportive space for family members of Veterans focused on self-care, healthy communication, boundary setting, empowerment and family resilience. 6 weeks · Wednesdays 5:30–7:00 pm.

06.

CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I)

A short-term program to help break the cycle of chronic sleep difficulties and improve sleep quality through practical, evidence-based strategies. 6 weeks · Mondays 10:00 am–12:00 pm.
