Where Mindfulness and
Psychotherapy Meet

Mindful Therapies is a specialized mental health clinic offering evidence-based therapy and psychological assessment services to older adolescents and adults. We have Registered Psychologists, Social Workers, and Counselling Therapists who offer virtual services in Nova Scotia and in-person services at our Dartmouth, Halifax and Wolfville, NS offices. Please note effective June 1, 2026 our Wolfville location is moving to 189 Dykeland St, Wolfville, NS.

We're here to listen deeply and provide tools, strategies and new skills to help our clients resolve conflicts, make choices, heal, strengthen and reconnect with the people and joy in their lives.

Our adult therapeutic services are delivered with a focus on mindfulness, and can address a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, addictive behaviours and trauma-related symptoms.

Our Services

Mindful Therapies — evidence-based mental health care

Mindful Therapies offers a variety of general adult mental health services: Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy and Group Therapy. In terms of groups, we have skills groups for anxiety, mood management, Veteran's DBT groups, Veteran family support groups, goal setting and self-care groups.

We offer a variety of therapies for everyday stressors, as well as anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and workplace stress. We also specialize in supporting currently and formerly serving Military members, Police, First Responders and their families, whether it is a diagnosis that is needed, group or individualized support — we are familiar with CAF, VAC and can help with direct billing and coordinating care with your case manager. Individual & Couples Therapy

We serve adults and young adults and provide evidence-based treatments for a wide range of concerns such as mood issues, relationship difficulties, behaviour changes and workplace stress. For couples, we have therapists trained in the Gottman Couples Therapy method.

First Responder Services

We serve military, former military, police, EMS and other first responder groups. We offer trauma-specific therapies such as EMDR, Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Veterans Group Services

We have a series of groups for both Veterans and their loved ones, aimed at helping you understand military injuries and their impact on mental health and family relationships. We offer skills-based therapies to improve coping and symptom improvement.

About Mindful Therapies

Mindful Therapies is a mental health and wellness clinic in Nova Scotia. Our team is made up of Clinical Social Workers, Psychologists, and Registered Counselling Therapists. The name Mindful Therapies is derived from putting together two main driving concepts for the clinic: Mindfulness and Psychotherapies. Mindfulness-based modalities we use include Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (for depression and anxiety), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR; for trauma), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills (DBT-Skills for emotional regulation).

We are pleased to offer in-person services at one of our 3 office locations: Halifax, Dartmouth and Wolfville, NS. In addition, we have a team of therapists who work fully virtually, serving clients across Nova Scotia.
